Hello Sweeties!

I can feel the summer heat already and it is not even mid-March! Whenever I go outside now I feel like my skin is frying! Ugh! Being a Mom of two active kids, with very sensitive skin, I just had to make sure that my kiddies enjoy their Moments under the Sun.

I am so relieved that Dermplus Moisturizing Sunblock, one of my favorite Sun Protection brands became part of the Watsons Sun Up to Sun Down Fair at SM City The Block.

Demplus Moisturizing Sunblock is a UV ray-protective product that has UVA & UVB filters plus titanium dioxide to prevent skin damage and aging. It is ideal for everyday use and suited even for sensitive skin. Packed with nourishing ingredients such as seaweed extract to heal skin damage, and aloe vera extract to soothe and cool the skin.

They have 7 variants of their bestselling moisturizing sunblocks.  Now, if you are confused about which one is best to use on your skin. Wondering what Dermplus Sunblock is best for your skin? Find out after the break.

My daughter Raffy is a Futbollera, she likes to play football and is under the sun almost everyday. If you or your kids are active in sports or enjoy long activities outdoors like mine is, Dermplus has the Ultimate SPF130 Sunblock (50ml/15ml) for adults and the Dermplus for Kids comes in SPF80 (50ml/15ml).

Dermplus Moisturizing Sunblock SFP35 For Kids and those with sensitive skin

What I like about Dermplus is that have the kids variant but it is not just limited to kids since it is also for those who have very sensitive skin, like our Lolos and Lolas (Grandparents) my 82 year old Mum, uses this when she gets here daily vitamin C.

What I like about the Dermplus Moisturizing Sunblocks other than they come in different SFPs, because it is PABA Free, dermatologist tested and water proof.

Dermplus also has the Boots Star Rating, that is very helpful in selecting what SFP that is suitable for your skin.

Sun Boots Star Rating

The Boots Star is a European standard for indicating the ratio of UVB protection of sunscreen and sunblock. The current system rates five starts the highest, offering The Best Sun Protection for Skin.

Living in the Philippines means being under the sun ALL the time. Here are reminders on how to enjoy the sun safely.

* Apply sunblock daily to prevent sunburn and premature aging. Who wants sunburn and age spots?
* Apply sunblock 30 minutes before going out and re-apply it after 2 hours for better skin protection, I know this is going to be hard for people who are “tamad” (lazy) like me but the alternative is better skin health, I think this is not a big sacrifice.
* Put sunblock not only on sunny days but also on overcast days when UV rays continue to exist. I also suggest that you wear unblocks even if you work pre dominantly indoors because indoor lights can also affect our skin.
* Ensure that sunblock the you use products your skin from both UVA and UVB rays.
