Unboxing: BDJBox April (An Exclusive Pixy Truly Asian Beauty Box)

This was left at my neighbor’s house by the very accommodating Xend delivery person since no one was home at the time, actually I was busy attending the BDJ Rendezvous: Change the Game when I got the message.

I almost forgot about it being the 2nd week of the month which mean BDJ Box delivery day!

Another Exclusive Box from the BDJ Team. This time it’s a Japanese Cosmetics Brand Mandom Beauty, Tokyo primarily based in Indonesia. Pixy Truly Asian Beauty To be honest I had no idea what this brand is all about until my BDJ Box arrived. Since becoming a veteran Bella and a BDJ Box subscriber I rarely bat and eyelash about the brands or the products I find inside the box, I am always excited to try something new.

The box was in this nice sleeve, which gives it that nice posh presentation that I really liked. The box was also pretty heavy, so I assumed I will be getting some full size items this time around. I also love this month’s mantra. Don’t Let Anyone Dull Your SPARKLE

I was right! The box contained 9 full sized items from Pixy. Together they are a complete make-up Kit. This is what I love about my BDJBoxes. Everything you’ll ever need is inside. For make-up newbies these is their starter kit.

I will start with my favorites which are lippies! I get very excited when I receive these because I can never do without them. I can basically go outside bare faced but for the lipstick/gloss/balm.

For this Pixy box, I get three lipsticks in different shades.

On the left, I have the Color of Delight Lipstick Silky Fit Semi-Matte in Haruka (#220) Price: 265php
On the top right Color of Delight Lipstick Silky Fit Lasting Matte in Earthy Beige (LM 504)Price: 325php
On the bottom right Color of Delight Lipstick Silky Fit Satin Lipstick in Pinkish Peach Satin ( #216) Price: 245php

For the eyes, Pixy has Color of Delight Eyeliner Pencil Price: 265php and Color of Delight Waterproof Volumizing Mascara Price: 295php

Pixy Ultimate Makeup Cake in Natural Puff
Price:445php This shade is a wee too dark for me, I am oily and acidic and whenever I apply foundation they turn very ashy (the look of death warmed over), so I usually get one a shade or two lighter.

Pixy UV Whitening Two Way Cake Perfect Fir Compact in Tropical Beige Price: 275php which is way too dark on me and Pixy UV Whitening Two Way Cake Perfect Matte Refill in Honey Beige Price: 145php which is actually closer to what I would use for myself.

The Color of Delight Blush-on in Brown Tea Price: 285php is probably the item I would use first out of curiosity since looking at it now it is quite dark, I wonder how it would look when applied on my cheeks?

For a Japanese brand, Pixy’s price range is very affordable. And with this BDJ Box Exclusive with 9 FULL SIZED items, the total price for the entire 2,545php! Wow! This is a far cry for the 580php I actually paid for with my subscription.
