With only a few days to go until the BDJFair2014, Live It Up! I decided to share my experience during the BDJVeterans AVR Shoot.
I have been an active BDJ Bella for the past 4 years. I have made a lot of friends, learn a lot of new and interesting things, challenged myself and done activities I have never thought or dreamed of trying. By becoming a BDJ Bella, I became empowered, stronger and open to the possibility that I can be more than who I was. I am fortunate enough to become part of this amazing community.
When the casting call was posted (The poster above). I did not think I would be able to participate due to my work schedule, I had to decide the last minute. I posted my entry a few minutes before the deadline, hoping to be a part of the BDJVeterans AVR this year.
I was happy to get an email from Jelly informing me that my entry made the cut. I part the first Batch, which had the call time of 10AM at the CBTL, Old Navy Building in Bonifacio High Street. I have a tendency to get lost so I arrived around 9:30 AM. Yep early bird. Nope I was not excited at all. Lol
The BDJVeterans were divided into two groups, with me in Batch 1 with Olga and Anne. 9 ladies were chosen for the Shoot, but Lala who was supposed to be in our group, got into a slight mishap and couldn’t join us. We missed her.
The theme for BDJFair is Live It Up! Dance to the Beat of your Dreams. The BDJVeterans were challenged to do task found in the BDJ Power Planner 2015 bucket list. Fortunately for me no actual dancing was involved. Batch 1, got to do more of the physical activities, which is something I am not used to, I now feel that I have been lapse in my physical activities.
We did a lot of challenges that day. I won’t devuldge much so as not to spoil the surprise. I do have to commend Olga and Anne for taking the mantel for Batch 1 by volunteering for the Wall Climbing challenge at the Power UP inside R.O.X . I don’t think I have the energy nor the courage to climb at this point in my life. Lol. Kudos sweeties!

All the BDJVeterans got to take home Salvatos Foldable Flip Flops, the BDJ Sticker Notes and colorful Mongol Ink Joy pens. Thanks you BDJ Team! It’s a privilege to be a part of the BDJVeterans for this year’s AVR.
We also got the first look at the BDJ Power Planners 2015!
Hope to see you all at the BDJFair 2014 on (Sunday) Oct 19, 2014 at the SM MOA Music Hall. I will be there early, tap me on the shoulder and say hi. I am slightly near sighted, so pardon the blank stare the first time we meet. let’s take a photo together, or a selfie? You know how vain I am so don’t be surprised.
