Feature: Inspiring Stories from the Elderly of Kanlungan ni Maria

Hello Sweeties!

Being Filipinos we are known to have a very close nit relationship with our families, to the point that although most of us have grown up and have families of our own we still live with out parents and grandparents.

Although a lot of us have are financial and space constrains, a lot of us still manage, no insist that our elderly live with us when they no longer able to take care of themselves.

It bought tears to my eyes to listen to the stories of these grand ladies from the Kanlungan ni Maria Center in Antipolo City, an institution that houses the poor, abandoned elderly.

Gluta White and Firm shares with us this video from their visit with Lola Puti, Lola Pina and Lola Cris inspiring stories of their life’s ups and down and how they live their lives in the twilight of their years with full of hope, joy, peace and love.

If you were touched by this heartwarming video share it with your family and friends and let this video be a reminder that even though life has full of surprises, some good and some are bad, we still need to smile and love one another.

Until next time!
