Curl Up: My Mascara Stash

Hello Sweeties!

This is the 4th installment of a series were I open my make-up bags for all you guys to see my collection of make-up essentials. This time let’s focus on Mascara.

Every girl should wear one or at least try to wear one. Mascara help open up the eyes and transforms brighten the eyes making it look doll like. I usually carry one in my bag just in case. I never use more than 2 mascaras at a time, I feel since the shelf life is only two months it is such a waste to use too many.

A reminder for all the mascara loving gals. You need to toss that mascara, no matter how much  you love it or how expensive it is after 2 months. This is to avoid eye infection. You can easily replace the mascara and you need to really take care of your eyes.

The following sealed mascaras are still unused and untried.

CoverGirl LashBlast Fusion Mascara (Very Black) They recently launched this at the BDJBox Beauty Soiree at SM Aura .  Raffy and I got these babies for free,( yep they are still sealed) via the event`s mascara swap. Raffy wonders why I keep old mascara cases, well this is the reason why. lol I can`t wait to try them out!

Za Cosmetics Perfect Action Mascara I got this as part of the prize from ZA Cosmetics Sampleroomph contest and I haven`t opened it yet. But I know that other Beauty Bloggers have given this a great review. Promises to be smudge proof and can be washed off with just warm water, this I have to experience!

Pixy Volumizing Waterproof Mascara (Black) This mascara is part of the Pixy Truly Asian Beauty Exclusive BDJBox, It also looks promising.

Revlon CustomEyes I got these as a gift from a BDJ Event, I haven`t found the time to try them out. This has two spoolies that you can interchange.

Clinique Lash Power Mascara This is a freebie from the Clinique Summer Workshop I attended with my BFF last summer. It is a deluxe sized product and perfect for a small travel make-up bag.

Benefit They’re Real! I was thrilled when I received this from the  June BDJBox Benefit Exclusive . It is a deluxe travel size sample as well.

Now these are the ones I have been using and will be tossing in a few days.

Maybelline The Hyper Curl Volume Express Waterproof (CatEyes) I will be tossing this mascara in a few days. I usually mark my calendar when I need to toss a make-up item just to be safe. I do like that this mascara is one I got from one the BDJBox Maybelline Exclusive that I used when my I tossed my Majolica Majorca Lash King. The spool looks like a comb and it coats my lashes really well and does`t clump.

Fairy Drops Platinum Mascara Mascara Waterproof Type was in Sampleroomph bags that they made available. I have been using this for like almost 2 months and eventually need to toss it. It is one of the most expensive mascaras I have ever encountered, around 1,200++php. I being someone who just cares that I have mascara on the price does matter. I might not be repurchasing this at all unless at an incredible discount.

You may have noticed that I have yet to actually purchase a mascara on my own. I figured it does`t really matter what brand, I pretty much tried most of the brands there are, if I  don`t like it I can toss it or give it away. I only ever use two mascaras at a time, One for my make-up bag and one I use at home.

I always hope that I get another mascara in my beauty boxes or event.
