This is my 3rd in the series of Make-up stash post, tagged by the Beauty Bloggers. This is what happens when you get tagged by other bloggers to play. You start looking over your make-up and wondering. WTH do I have so many stuff?! Well, maybe that is just me.
Now I will talk about my Eyeshadow Collection. I never knew I had so many!
Let me start with the Eyeshadow I have yet to use. Yep, they are still in their original packaging and I have not swatch them yet. I rarely purchase eyeshadows because I am not adept in apply it on myself, I always look a bit lopsided. I have like 3 brands that I actually shelled money for and I made sure to use it them alternately.
Elf: The Beauty Encyclopedia Smoky Edition I got this from my cousins who were based in the US. It is a nice book, it includes a step by step guide to the perfect eye makeup 12 eyeshadow shades, 1 eyeliner, 1 eyeshadow applicator 1 mirror.
Avon True Color Eyeshadow Duo Mauve Glow Duo I got this as a gift from my Avon lady. I misplaced it and never used it. lol Now I found it, and see that it is handy I will use it.
Maybelline Lumineyes (Wine) I won this in one of the events I went to. I had another one of the same shade from my BDJBox Maybelline Exclusive that I used up. This is like my back up.
Za Impact-Full Eyes Gradation I got this as part of the prize from Sampleroomph ZA Contest. I never got to use this because well, I had no idea what Gradation means. Such a noob. But since like the Maybelline Lumineyes this is pink based, I can pretty much hold back on using it.
That`s it for the sealed eyeshadows. Here are some of the ones that I have used.
Etude House Bling Bling in Great Bear Star is more a highlighter than actual eyeshadow. This is pretty handy though if I just want to brighten my eyes. plus the round tip makes it easy to apply and less messy.
Enchanted Pixy Dust Nude Eyes I got these from a BDJBox and I only recently tried to use them. The color is matte, the colors fade after a few hours, may eyelid are very oily so more or less this disappears quickly even when I apply eyelid primers. I keep this around when Raffy need to put on makeup for her school performances.
Etude House Look at My Eyes in Apricot and Brownies I won this at one of the Etude House Playhouse Events, Perfect for Smokey eyes and or for the toned down office look.
Shisiedo Maquillage Eyeshadow During one of the BDJBox Beauty Sorirees they had lectures from Shisiedo they gave out prizes, This was part of the kit. Shimmery and perfect for the evening. I don`t use it often but It looks awesome.
Revlon ColorStay Brazen Desinvolte This was given away at the recent BDJBox Beauty Soiree:Summer Luau to all the participants. We got to choose the palette we wanted from the ones we tested out. Since I hardly ever use eyeshadow and I am not the adventurous type I choose the safest shade in that bunch and for practical reasons I am certain I will use this up before it goes bad.
Maybelline : Color Tattoo by EyeStudio 24hr in Edgy Emerald, Bad to the Bronze, Painted Purple & Inked in Pink (375php each)
I liked the idea of very vivid colors, this is a gel-cream eyeshadow, it last a long time. I usually use the Ink in Pink as a eyeshadow primer over other colors. It also does not feel heavy when applied, for someone with oily lids this is perfect coz the colors don`t crease! When you buy 2 Color Tattoo you get this metal storage container and eyeshadow brushes for free. I am not sure if they still have it but I do like the other colors too, maybe I will get 2 more…I just don`t like the black spaces in that palette. OC much?!
Ellana Mineral Cosmetics Eyebrow/Eyeshadow Quad: Beloved, Intense, Wish & Hush (350php)
I love this palette! I bring it with me all the time, to use on my eyebrows! I don`t really like to use it as eyeshadow because it feels a bit grainy but it is perfect as eyebrow powder!
Majolica Majorca: The Little Humming Book III (999php) is one of my favorite pallets. It contains, 2 shades of eyeshadow, eyed shadow primer and lipgloss in this cute little book. I bought this during the 1st Za & Majolica Majorca Make-up Workshop for like 600php. I like that it is compact and has the essentials that I need if and when I need to retouch for a night out with friends.
After this inventory I discovered that I don`t really need another pallet/eyeshadow color anymore but will just consume what I have now. I also found out that I am pretty conservative when it comes to colors…maybe I should be more adventurous when trying out eyeshadows, but I figured that`ll never happen if I don`t learn how to put it on my eyes properly. Mental note to attend more workshops or at least watch more youtube videos.
So, what are your favorite eyeshadow colors?
Until next time Sweeties!

Joey, I read a story recently about a couple who were eating in a restaurant. The food was good so they asked the chef what cooking tools he uses. Of course, the chef got offended. The food was good because of the techniques and skills of the chef has. I was mindblown. I need to focus less on the tools and the makeup and more on developing my skills as a makeup artist (I am my own personal makeup artist)
Rae, I know! Bobbi Brown said “that “Personalized beauty is about each woman being able to apply her own makeup routine that complements her coloring and style.”That is my goal to actually learn to apply makeup on myself and not be laughed at.
I am almost ashamed if I were to do something like this. I am an eyeshadow whore and I have too many eyeshadow palettes! Neutrals are my favorite.
Do.n’t worry you are not alone. I am very curious about what other bloggers have in their traincases. you may notice I hardly purchase, I like the samples and freebies.
