Hello Sweeties!
I rarely plan on purchasing a certain brand of cosmetics,. I don’t even have a favorite brand. I just use the gift given my friends and family. Or what I get from my favorite beauty box.
Last year a local cosmetic brand called Happy Skin came out. I automaticallyy became enamored with the entire packaging, Teal is actually my new favorite color. Lol. I also liked that it is a local brand owned by great ladies like Rissa Mananquil-Trillo and Jacqe Yuengtian-Gutierrez. A brand that targets Asian, with the Pinays in mind. Fashionable, hip, each product has a witty name, it not only makes you look beautiful but it also has a lot of skin benefits.
So since their launch I have been saving a bit to buy their products in one go. 5,000php worth of products will get you that pretty teal traincase/makeup bag, one of the reasons why I did not buy anything from their line before. It is beautiful.
Brush Em All Off Girl Make-up Brushes 2,450php
I also like their make-up brushes although I have misgivings because their brushes were all white. It would be rather difficult to keep them clean all the time. I do like their sturdy make-up pouch in TEAL that came with the brushes. More on this when I do review the brushes and pouch.
Turn Up the Heat Limited Edition Summer Collection Box of 3 1,249php (individually they cost 549php)
I loved that they have a limited edition line of moisturizing lippies. I am a lip product kind of girl, when asked what cosmetic I would always have in my bag I would always say lipstick/balm/tint, I feel a bit of color can go a long way in brightening one`s face. Happy Skin came out with their limited edition Turn Up the Heat Summer Collection in 3 colors. I have no idea how long they would have these but I do hope they make it a part of their permanent line. They have it in shaded that really suit my skin tone, I being a shade short of being morena. I admit, I look awesome in all these shades, as you can see below.
This lip-loving moisture stick is loaded with Shea Butter and Collagen to get fans to line up for a taste of those supple, hydrated, and ultra-kissable lips. Highly pigmented and moisture-packed, this lippie glides on irresistibly smooth (without the stickiness!) and leaves behind a rich, creamy pout that’s way tempting to kiss.

Make a Clean Sweep Revitalizing Micellar Makeup Cleanser 599php
Wipe away the remnants of bad vibes, heavy makeup, and a long day, and let your skin breathe. Happy Skin Make A Clean Sweep Revitalizing Micellar Makeup Cleanser makeup remover is a gentle yet potent water-based makeup cleanser. Micellar water, boasting the highest makeup removing powers, leaves skin fresh and clean without having to rinse!
I have been in the market for a rinse free make-up remover that would really melt my waterproof eyeliner and mascara. So far I have liked Za Eye and Lip Make-up Remover but it only comes in that tiny container. So I thought I`d try this one to see if it is really a no rinse kind of cleanser.
Eye Need A Miracle Concealer 699php
Say goodbye to the telling signs of sleepless nights or party-pooped peepers with Happy Skin Eye Need A Miracle Concealer. This hydrating, cover-up concealer has a rich, buildable formula the miraculously melts into the skin. It hides those pesky dark circles, redness and discoloration, and fills in those fine lines for a fresh, radiant, I’m-not-haggard-at-all look.
This product is not really new but I have been searching for a concealer specifically for the eye area, I usually gets bum pies under the eyes when I use regular concealer hence the need for something less creamy on my under eye area.
This is my haul from Happy Skin, and since I am on a strict restriction on make-up products for the next 4 months having spent my quota on this haul. I would probably just make reviews of the stuff that I do have while planning on my next purchase in around September… he he he. I do like the Happy Skin Feeling Sculptacular Face Contour Kit and their I AM Here To Stay 24 hour Waterproof Eyeliner.

You look good with those lippies, Mommy Janet!
Wow, those are expensive stuff! But I have to agree, the traincase looks fab! If I will buy from them, it will definitely be the brush set. I don’t wear make up a lot but I believe in investing wisely on make up brushes. Great haul Janet!
I still have misgivings about the brushes…coz they are white. mahirap linisan, but we will see when I road test them.
