It’s Friday and such a fruitful one at that. With the opening of Too Cool for School’s second store in Manila. ( the first one is found at the MOA) Located at SM City North EDSA 2nd Level City Center Building ( across from Chowking and Mann Hann). It’s relatively easy to find. They timed their store launch with the Great Northern Sale where everyone was sure to take notice of the new and curiously designed store.

Too Cool for School is a unique Korean cosmetic brand that tells a story of 3 girls Sienna (the fashionista) Joey ( the tomboyish music lover) and Emma ( the artist) and Max, a cat with many secrets. The brand embodies the spirit of young generation by designer Anke Weckman, a famous British illustrator.

The display and set up of the store is very unique and so eye-catching you will surely take a second glance and end up inside browsing on the interesting and curiously cute items on every shelf.

You will notice that the items on display are so colorful, the designs so feminine but not really you can’t help but stare and touch and try them out!

They have everything a girl could ever want in a make-up line! Here are some of the products I am definitely going to go back for: All the lip products, Cool ArtClass Eye make-up pencil eraser, ArtClass Lip Crayon, ArtClass Lip and Cheek, Pink Shower brush Cleanser, After School Pot Eyeliner with Eyebrow Powder , DinoPlaz Lip Balm and that cute Emma Make-up pouch (pink)

They had the reception for the guests at Mann Hann and they also handed out the swags (loot bags) there as well.

The opening of the new store became doubly fun after I spotted some of the awesome bloggers and Bellas during the event.

My purchase from Too Cool for School. Joey Make-up bag, yeah I kid you not! It seems I selected a pouch of the tomboyish character from the TCFS line lol. The famous Hot Girl Lipsticker in Real Red and Rules of Trouble dual cover BB Cream. Bloggers get a 20% discount for their purchase. Yay! Although they give out a 10% discount for all purchases just for the store’s opening.

Additional loot for the bloggers. Samples of the best sellers and the Play Cheek Angel Blusher (Joey again)

What makes Too Cool for School different from all the other Korean Cosmetic brands in the country is it’s unique and edgier look that caters not just to a specific type of girl. The price of the items found in the store is more expensive than Étude House or Tony Moly and the cosmetics have no English translation in it’s packages. I feel that this brand has more than celebrity endorses backing it up but because it is a high end brand, the quality of the product would speak for itself.

I like the edgy atmosphere of the store. I like the colorful products and the artist studio like feel of the interior. So whether you are a glamorous fashion maven, a tomboyish rebel or a sweet artistic and childlike, TCFS has a product for you.

With Ms. Jarelle Pascual of Too Cool For School I just love those cat ears! Her make-up was flawless the whole time!
